This twist on the Bloody Mary for juicers is a welcome change from sweet drinks. It even

6 tomatoes, stemmed, halved
4 stalks kale (total 6 oz/175 g)
1 small lemon, peeled, halved, excess pith removed
1/4 small red onion
1 stalk celery, cut in segments
Sea salt + freshly ground black pepper to taste
Ice cubes to taste
Process tomatoes, kale, lemon, onion and celery in electric juicer according to manufacturer’s instructions. Stir in salt and pepper. Fill tall glasses with ice. Pour in juice.
Makes 3-1/4 cups (800 mL).
Bloody Green Mary
Substitute spinach or chard by weight for the kale.
