Saying “parrot” is simpler than saying “parsnip, pear and carrot.“ Lime and ginger accents round out this tasty juice. The vibrant orange colour is pleasing, too.
1 large pear, stemmed, quartered
1 lime, peeled, halved, excess pith removed
4 parsnips, trimmed, cut in segments
2 carrots, trimmed, cut in segments
1-inch (2.5 cm) piece ginger
Process ingredients in electric juicer according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Makes 1-3/4 cups (425 mL).
