Spicy Celery, Carrot & Apple Juice

Don’t be fooled by the tastefully muted orange hue of this drink. Fresh ginger gives it quite a spicy, hot kick. Adapted from a Breville recipe attributed to Australian juicing guru Joe Cross. (Juicing tips and techniques: All Juiced Up.)

4 stalks celery, cut in segments
2 carrots, trimmed, cut in segments
1 apple, stemmed, quartered
1 piece ginger (1-inch/2.5 cm)

Process ingredients in electric juicer according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Makes 2 cups (500 mL).

Oh No: There’s no need to peel the ginger.

TESTED IN IMPERIAL, USING CENTRIFUGAL JUICER
