Tomato, Carrot & Pepper Juice

I like the Mediterranean accent of this savoury beverage, fresh from the juicer. Adapted from a Breville recipe. (Juicing tips and techniques: All Juiced Up.)

2 tomatoes, stemmed, halved
1 stalk basil
1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, cut in pieces
2 carrots, trimmed, cut in segments

Process ingredients in electric juicer according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Makes 2 cups (300 mL).

Waste Not: Use the stem and leaves of the basil.
